What is Innisfallen island?

Innisfallen Island is a beautiful island just 1.5km from Ross Castle in the heart of Killarney National Park. This enchanting island was once home to a monastery dating back to 640 AD founded by St Finian the Leper. The island was a place of solitude for the monks to reflect and pray.

Our Innisfallen Island Tours are a step back in time. Where you travel over one of Killarney’s great lakes to an ancient monastery on a hidden island. The tours start at one hour and can be as long as your day, time is at your pace.

Not to be missed adventure!

This was one of the most adventurous days of our entire trip! My husband and I tell everyone about it. I highly recommend taking advantage of this unique experience. The most amazing views and great story telling by our jaunting car driver. Would do it again if ever given the chance!!!!

We had a beautiful day going to Across the lower lake with an unexpected stop at Inisfallen to see the priory and then on to the upper lake with beautiful views and a wonderful walk with constantly changing scenery down the Gap of Dunloe. I have done this twice and would happily do it again

Fantastic experience must do it again in reverse.

Walked the Gap of Dunloe from Kate Kearneys cottage and got the boat from Lord Brandons cottage to Ross Castle. Courtesy bus back to Dunloe

A Day Away From the Office

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Extremely well coordinated and thoroughly enjoyed.

Two times still charming

Second time touring with this company. Easy to set up, meet up and enjoy. Wonderful experience both times. First time in the sun, second time it was a little rainy. But that just complimented the beautiful scenery . I doubt I would ever tire of the experience. Truly beautiful . Thank you.
